Allium 'Purple Sensation' (tall)
Flowering in May into June, these deer resistant blooms bob above other plants and attract pollinators like crazy, then make wonderful seed heads. They perennialize and multiply slowly to create an elegant, totally care free presence in your garden. So much to love about alliums!
**I would say the color in this photo is much brighter/pinker than in real life. They look great planted behind lavender plants or grasses like Carex (sedge) where they can phase in and out again without showing their dying leaves.
Bulbs are sold in bags of ten (10) and need to be planted in November so their roots can start growing!
